Sefi Ovadia’s investigation with Moti Sander, which is connected to Netanyahu and Herzog, This is not just another story about Bibi – but proof of a dirty deal: a presidency in exchange for a pardon.
This is not “another story about Netanyahu.” From him, we have already become accustomed to corruption, tricks, lies, cigars, champagne, fraudulent favors, unfounded promises and rotations that have not been fulfilled. Genocide and lack of concern for the lives of Israelis. But this time, the story is not only about Netanyahu. The story is about Isaac (Buji) Herzog, the President of the State of Israel, the Zionist state.
If what was revealed is indeed true (and it is not possible to ignore the testimonies, recordings, names, dates and contexts) – this is not a rumor, but a corrupt deal that in some countries will lead to indictments. A rough deal: an appointment to the presidency in exchange for a pardon. The presidency of the State of Israel as a personal bargaining chip in Benjamin Netanyahu’s criminal struggle for survival.
And how could it have been different? After all, Herzog came from a small Labor party that barely passed the threshold of entering the stinking Knesset, how he became president if not for the support of Netanyahu and the Likud. But when this happened, not a single Zionist raised an eyebrow, and now they will hurry to announce that they are “shocked”.
The picture that emerges is particularly difficult for Herzog. Not a brave statesman, but a frightened politician who sticks his tail between his legs every time Netanyahu is in the area. A man who was afraid of Netanyahu even when he sat in the opposition. In an embarrassing media appearance, the person who spewed out his truth and declared that he would keep “Netanyahu united,” while Netanyahu exploded from behind in the background from Herzog’s outburst. Sander provides evidence in which Herzog wrote to him how afraid he was that Netanyahu himself would run for president, in order to take advantage of immunity from his trial, and to block him from being elected president. A person who understands the rules of the game well and chooses to play to the end.
The only important question is how long such a rotten state will exist.
