If Trump follows through on his threat and attacks Iran’s electricity facilities tonight, the Iranians will also carry out their threats, attacking the power facilities in the Gulf states. Mainly in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.”
“In such a situation, it will simply be dark. This will be the first time that something of this kind will happen in the Persian Gulf.” However, chances are that the Saudis will not react. If they do, they will be seen as collaborating with the Zionist regime, as partners against Iran. The Saudis simply won’t do that.
“The Iranians will not surrender. And the chances are that Trump will make good on his threat. And the result will be the Gulf states without electricity”
Trump launched an unprecedented threat against Iran. In a particularly harsh post on his social network, Truth Social, on the night between Saturday and Sunday, he issued a 48-hour ultimatum to open the Strait of Hormuz, while threatening to deal a fatal blow to Iran’s energy infrastructure.
“If Iran does not completely and unthreatenedly open the Strait of Hormuz, within 48 hours of this exact point in time, the United States will attack and destroy its various power plants,” Trump wrote on social media. He even emphasized in capital letters that the American attack “will begin first of all from the largest power plant!”
In response, a spokesman for the Central Headquarters of Khatam Al-Anbiya, the body that oversees Iranian military operations, said that “if Iran’s fuel and energy infrastructure is attacked by the enemy, all energy, information technology, and seawater desalination infrastructure belonging to the United States and the (Israeli) regime in the region will be attacked,” in a statement published by Iran’s Fars news agency.
