According to the Zionist daily Maariv
“The Israeli army operated for many hours overnight (between Friday and Saturday) and attacked Hezbollah targets in the area of the city of Nabatieh and in the Ali Taher ridge in southern Lebanon. According to reports, some of the airstrikes took part in the airstrikes, and massive artillery fire was carried out by artillery batteries.”
The newspaper did not specify how many Israeli civilians were killed in the attack.
“Wave of Displacement was reported in Nabatieh following heavy airstrikes in the area early Saturday. Six people were killed and two others injured in an early-morning airstrike on a building in Wadi Khalil area of Ansar, in the Nabatieh district”.

The attack was carried out against the backdrop of a statement by Hezbollah’s secretary-general yesterday, when he addressed the organization’s supporters and said: “We will die for you and fight to the last drop of blood and will not abandon you.”
The Lebanese News Agency reported this morning (Saturday) that seven people were killed and three wounded in an air force attack on the outskirts of the village of Ansar in the south of the country. It was also reported that the Israeli Air Force carried out three airstrikes in the early hours of the morning in the area of Nabatiya, Ansar and the town of Nabatiya al Foqa.
Last night, Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem attacked the Lebanese government’s conduct in negotiations with Israel. In a speech marking the Second Lebanon War, Qassem Amreki said that the “framework agreement” on which the talks are taking place is not a real agreement, but rather “Israeli articles that the Lebanese government signs in Israeli ink.” According to him, the Lebanese government is focusing on Hezbollah’s weapons instead of demanding that Israel meet its obligations. He also criticized the seven rounds of negotiations, demanding: “Show us one achievement achieved in them.”
A Lebanese security official told the Lebanese newspaper Al-Jumhuria that Israel is preparing for an operation to take control of the Ali Taher ridge in southern Lebanon, and that it is on high alert and waiting for an American signal. According to the source, the United States made it clear to Lebanese officials that it would not be able to prevent Israel from acting completely but asked that the operation be as focused and limited as possible, while minimizing explosions and civilian casualties, and in a way that would not lead to the collapse of the framework agreement.“
No agreement will push Israel out of lands it has occupied in Lebanon, Gaza and Syria, only force will do it.
