While the pro Zionist propaganda attack Hezbollah as a terrorist organization and applause the Lebanese Government that submits to US and to Israel, Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem on Friday evening in his speech attacked the Lebanese government’s conduct in negotiations with Israel. In a speech marking the Second Lebanon War, Qassem said that the “framework agreement” on which the talks are being held is not a real agreement, but rather “Israeli articles that the Lebanese government signs in Israeli ink.” According to him, the Lebanese government is focusing on the attack on Hezbollah’s weapons instead of demanding that Israel meet its obligations. He also criticized the seven rounds of negotiations, demanding: “Show us one achievement achieved in them.”

In his speech, Qassem attacked the Lebanese army and the “ongoing humiliation” that Lebanon is suffering. He stressed that Hezbollah will not accept an infringement on Lebanon’s sovereignty, the continued Israeli presence or “American guardianship” over the country. Anyone who expects his organization to surrender is “betting on a misrepresentation.” Qassem also said that the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran contributed to curbing Israeli aggression and reducing escalation, and that it was among the factors that allowed residents of Lebanon to return to their homes. At the end of his speech, Qassem addressed Hezbollah supporters, saying that the organization would continue to stand by them. “We will die for you and fight to the last drop of blood and will not abandon you,” he said. He called on supporters to “store anger in their hearts” and be ready to use it “when the time comes,” and warned that anger could erupt against anyone who acts against Hezbollah and its supporters – that is, the government of the traitors of Aon.

According to the Lebanese newspaper Al-Jumhuria, Israel is preparing for an operation to take control of the Ali Tahir Ridge in southern Lebanon, and that it is on high alert and waiting for an American signal. According to the source, the United States made it clear to Lebanese officials that it would not be able to prevent Israel from acting completely but asked that the operation be as focused and limited as possible, while minimizing explosions and civilian casualties, and in a way that would not lead to the collapse of the framework agreement.
