Dr. Husam Bo Safia committed a horrific crime in the eyes of the Zionists, he treated the wounded Gazans at the Kamel Adwan Hospital in Gaza instead of letting them die. Therefore, he is not only detained but also in solitary confinement in prison. He has been detained for more than 10 months without being charged. This is administrative detention that Israel uses when it has no evidence.
Since his arrest, Dr. Abu Safieh has lost about 25 kilograms, suffers from severe itching and heart problems, but has not received any medical treatment. Dr. Abu Safieh spoke of violence by guards during frequent searches of cells. He said the detainees were given little food, many of them had lost significant weight, and were held in dirty clothes for months.The Supreme Court, which heard an appeal regarding the arrest of Dr. Hussam Abu Safieh, director of Kamel Adwan Hospital in the Gaza Strip, ruled that the confidential intelligence material submitted substantiated the claim that he was a Hamas operative who was engaged in terrorist activity.
The court allowed the publication of the decision in Abu Sufiya’s case following Haaretz’s request. In a hearing held about two months ago, Judge Gila Kanfi-Steinitz ruled that Abu Safieh had been transferred to solitary confinement for a “non-discoverable” reason. It rejected the claim of his attorney, Attorney Nasser Odeh, that he had been transferred to solitary confinement as a punitive measure due to the filing of an appeal against his continued detention.
When the day comes, not only the Zionist leaders will be put on trial, but judges who have covered up war crimes.
