As could be expected the Zionist Police raided Al-Aqsa for a second night. The hooligans in uniform fired stun grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets at Palestinian worshippers. Videos from the site show armed troops forcibly emptying the mosque from worshippers who had gathered there for Ramadan prayers (see tweet at al Jazeera). The second raid came hours after the detention of 400 youths protesting the dozens of right-wing Jews who entered Haram El Sharif to pray there as part of the growing Zionist movement that calls for the destruction of Al Aqsa, and replace them with the third Jewish Temple. At least six Palestinian people were wounded in the latest raid. Dozens of Israeli settlers entered the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli police on Thursday morning. Earlier, Israeli police prevented Palestinian worshippers from entering the mosque for Fajr prayer.
The police attacked protesters in Umm Al-Fahm and Baqa al-Gharbiyeh in the lands Israel occupied in 1948 on Wednesday night, firing tear gas and stun grenades at the protesters. At least four Palestinians were arrested in Umm Al-Fahm as protests also spread to Haifa, Nazareth, Kufr Kanna and Arrabeh.
“Tension is running high in the Gaza Strip after the use of force by Israeli police in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound for two consecutive nights. There is a high sense of worry among the people here as they associate Ramadan with memories of violence,” Al Jazeera’s Youmna El Sayed reported from Gaza. The month of Ramadan in the past few years has seen Israeli forces attack worshippers at Islam’s third holiest site, and prevent them from spending the night inside the mosque for itikaf – an Islamic practice of spending a few days inside a mosque during Ramadan” [1]
“Dozens of Palestinians have been wounded by Israeli forces across the occupied West Bank after the Al-Aqsa Mosque was raided for the second night in a row, according to the Wafa news agency.
At least 12 people were wounded when Israeli forces hurled canisters with poisonous gas in Nablus, the agency said, while another was hit by live ammunition in the town of Beit Ummar near the northern city of Hebron.
Dozens of people in Beit Ummar also reported suffocating from poisonous gas, Wafa reported. The agency also reported violence near the cities of Jenin and Bethlehem” [2]
Palestinian groups in Gaza launched several rockets from the blockaded enclave into Israel early on Thursday morning, the Times of Israel reported.
“The Arab League was set to meet for an emergency session Wednesday after Israeli forces entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque overnight and clashed with Palestinians inside Jordan, in partnership with the Palestinian Authority and Egypt, had earlier called for the body to hold an emergency session. A statement published by Jordan’s Foreign Ministry said Amman sought the meeting after Israeli forces “stormed” the flashpoint Al-Aqsa” [3]
“The United Nations Security Council will convene an emergency session on Thursday to discuss recent violence in Jerusalem where Israeli police clashed with Muslim worshipers at the Temple Mount, fighting that was followed by rocket fire from Gaza into Israel and IDF counterstrikes. Thursday’s session will take place behind closed doors and was called by the United Arab Emirates — the Arab League’s representative on the council — and China, two UN diplomats for countries on the panel told The Times of Israel on Wednesday.It will be the fourth emergency session held by the Security Council on Israeli-Palestinian tensions since the establishment of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s hardline government just over three months ago” [4]
These meetings are no more than lip service at least for now. However, the weaker Israel becomes, and its usefulness for the other imperialists declines, there is a chance that its defenders like the USA and the EU will be forced to impose sanctions on the Zionist apartheid.

Israel is working to reduce tensions and maintain the status quo on Temple Mount, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday afternoon Palestinians and police clashed in al-Aqsa earlier in the day.”After extremists prevented the entry of Muslim worshipers to the mosque, security forces were forced to act to bring order,” the prime minister said” [5]
That Netanyahu is a Lier everyone who has dealt with him knows. Even in this short statement, he lies. how Israel is keeping the status quo when it allowed the right-winger Zionist to pray in the compound? The police used brutal force against the Palestinians because they defended Al Aqsa. If Muslims will try to pray at the Western Wall they will be lynched.
