Bialik wrote the poem in response to the massacre in Kishinev

“And if there is justice, it will appear immediately! But if after me, the heavens are under the heavens. Justice will appear – May his throne be uprooted forever!

And in the wickedness of the world, the heavens will be humbled; You also go, you Zadim, in this sin of yours And in your blood they lived and nursed.

Cursed is he who says: Vengeance! Such revenge, revenge for the blood of a small child Satan has not yet created – And the blood poured out the abyss! The winery of blood to the depths of darkness, And he ate in the darkness and undermined there. All the institutions of the land that are reasoning.”

A pediatrician from Gaza, Dr. Alaa al-Najjar, lost nine of her children in an attack of the criminal Israeli air force in Khan Yunis while she was in the hospital, taking care of injured Palestinians, and for this she was punished. Her husband, a doctor, was seriously injured, and another child survived but was injured. People around the world were shocked by the case that was extensively covered, but the Monster army was still silent.

The people around the world continue to deal with what is happening in the Gaza Strip and the humanitarian situation there, but at the top of the headlines is this attack attributed to the Zionist army, and so far, the army has not responded to it. The destination, according to the Palestinians and international reports, was the home of Dr. Alaa al-Najar in Khan Yunis. As a result of the attack, nine of her children were reportedly killed.

The late Professor Yeshayahu Leibowitz who at the time he died in 1995 held the position of Visiting Professor in the Department of Philosophy in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Prior to that he was head of the Biological Chemistry Department at the Hebrew University and Professor of Neurophysiology at the Hebrew University Medical School. He was born in Riga in 1903 and educated in Germany and Switzerland before he arrived to Palestine in 1934. In the last few years of his life, his fame spread beyond Israel and even Jewish circles, in recognition of his religious and moral presence. Isaiah Berlin, who knew him when both were young boys in Riga, wrote of him: “I have followed with admiration the views and actions of Yeshayahu Leibowitz, and what makes such a profound impression on me is the unshakable moral and political stand which he took for so many years in the face of so much pressure from those who urged him to be sensible, realistic, not to let down the side, not to give comfort to the enemy, not to fight against current conventional wisdom. But he did resist these pressures and did not lower his flag.” He is known by his supporters as the “third Yeshayahu” – after the first two that are in the bible. He is the one who called the Zionist murderer Yudo Nazis.

The leader of the left Zionists, Yair Golan, the Democrats party leader, gave his first interview on Saturday evening with Channel 12 following a wave of criticism over his recent controversial statements. When he said that a normal state does not kill babies as a hobby.

In the interview, which took place after the news revealing the cold-blooded murder of the 9 children, Golan retreated like a political dwarf, stating, “Of course, Israel doesn’t kill babies for a hobby. Israel has not committed war crimes in Gaza. My comments were directed at the political leadership. The goal of the war is political. Hamas has been militarily defeated – we must bring the war to an end and secure the release of all the hostages in one decisive move.” [i]
