The American imperialists strategy for the Middle East has been for years the normalization of the Arab states with the Zionist apartheid state while ignoring the Palestinians under the oppression of Israel in the West-Bank and Gaza. This policy took shape in the Abram accords. But then came the war of Israel on Gaza and this strategy is most likely going to fail as Israel supported in its war crimes by the U.S is facing the opposition of the Arab masses especially in the states that entered the Abraham Accords.
“A comprehensive poll conducted by the Arab Center Washington DC (ACW), in collaboration with The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies (ACRPS). which gauged sentiments against the Zionist state across 16 Arab countries, underscores a growing resistance against normalization with Israel because of the Israeli criminal war on Gaza.
89% of respondents from the Arab world expressed opposition to the recognition of Israel, which increased from previous polls. This figure of 89% indicates a 5% rise in opposition compared to the results from the 2022 survey, where 84% were against recognition.
The opposition is especially clear in countries that have formal peace agreements with Israel, such as Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and Sudan.
In Saudi Arabia, opposition surged from 38% in 2022 to a remarkable 68% in the latest poll. Similarly, Morocco saw an increase from 67% to 78%, and Sudan from 72% to 81%, showcasing a significant hardening of attitudes across diverse Arab societies.
These findings signal a profound disillusionment with the so-called peace process and the normalization agreements. The ACW’s report emphasizes that, despite diplomatic efforts and political maneuvers, the grassroots opposition to recognizing Israel is intensifying.” [1]
The opposition for Israel’s recognition among the Arab public stands as a testament to the enduring and shared solidarity with the Palestinian cause unlike the local rulers’ servants of Western-imperialism and of the Zionist state that its isolation is growing daily.
Only the most reactionary governments and movements still support Israel. The U.S and the evangelists, Britain, or the unpopular right- wing Bonapartist in Argentina that visits Israel, prayed at the western wall, and stated that he will remove the Argentinian embassy to Jerusalem.
